Suse installation powers down my laptop
 

I am using the floppy (1 boot and 4 modules) installation and somehow my Inspiron 8000 powers off at exactly the same point during the installation every time. Everything seems to going well till I try to load the network modules in the installation so that I can do a network install, this is when the laptop powers down for no apparant reason. If I bypass the loading module step I am able to go further in the installation, I did notice that the cpu fans go into overload (even tho the laptop is not very hot). I tried switiching the bios power management feature off, but hasn't helped.

Anybody??

does it reboot the computer also ?

no just powers it down when loading modules.
