I've seen a couple of other threads saying that people have had problems with USB devices to work with Suse 9.1.
I've got lots of USB devices including the mouse and ADSL modem. Neither of these 2 work during the install and I can't really see any way to activate them. I've tried removing / inserting, juggling ports, YaST (but not sure where). It's all getting a tad frustrating and I'd appreciate any pointers that anyone can give.
Has anybody managed to resolve USB probs with Suse 9.1?

I suggest not using USB devices during installation. USB during install has been a problem for some with SuSE. Use a ps2 mouse for installation and once you have booted for the first time, start introducing your USB devices to the machine.
I gave this a try and unplugged everything, put my mouse in through the PS/2 adapter and did a clean install but it's still not recognising USB devices. Hotplug does nothing.
I've got the standard USB 2.0 that came with my computer and an add-on 4-port PCI card.
Is it possible that it's either not installed the USB 2 devices or is not starting it during it's boot? Is there an easy way to check?
