suse 9.0, trouble mounting ntfs

Well, I just installed suse 9.0 via ftp yesterday. Install went smooth and all my hardware was detected. The only problem I've had so far is trying to mount my xp ntfs partition (has my music and such) as read (I've heard it can be dangerous to try it for write as well) I've done some extensive searching on google on how to do it but it never seems to work correctly. Have any of you tried this with suse 9.0, and if so what did you do to get it working correctly (if you did) any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

I was all up and running when I installed it. It even put an icon for my windows ntfs partition on the desktop. I didn't have to do anything.

Intersting, if I remember right mandrake 9.1 did that for me as well. I wonder why I'm having probs, hopefully I'll get some more time soon to toy around with it some more.

I'm really trying to move from linux to windows, so if anyone could at least give me a hint or something it would help out a lot.
