Suse 9.0 SANE not allowing YAST to recognize printer?

Hi all,

I recently installed Suse 9.0 personal edition and now I am trying to setup my printer.

I have an Epson Stylus CX5200 which is a printer, scanner, and copier. It connects via USB. When I plugged it in, I ran YAST to configure it. It automatically detected it and started to set it up.

During the setup, YAST notified my that if I wanted to use the scanner, I would need to install SANE. So I chose to install it. After SANE was intstalled, YAST no longer detected my printer.

I closed YAST and restarted it, when to Network Devices, selected Printers, and it still did not detect the printer. Can anyone offfer any suggestions to get YAST to detect the printer? I would like to be able to both scan and print from Linux using the epson.
