SuSE 9.0 comes w/o GNUCash?

Ok here's the silly problem I am having: I cannot find GNUCash in SuSE 9.0! I read that it comes with the product, which I bought from Amazon. I've checked all three of my disks for GNUCash at this location .../suse/i586/gnucash-1.8.5-40.i586.rpm. That information came from the SuSE website, who said that the file would be there. I tried YAST and found nothing. What am I doing wrong? Or am I an airhead and there is no GNUCash in SuSE?
Thank you for helping me sort this out.

I called up YaST2. Went to Install/Remove Software, typed gnucash into the search box and gnucash 1.8.5-40 comes up read to install.

When I typed that into YAST search I got "No Results". Where else should I look?

Are you using SuSE 9.0 Personal or Professional? The Personal edition may not have this particular package.

It's personal edition. Well, then that would be the problem. Thank you for helping me sort that out.

Now wait a minute -- why WOULDN'T the personal edition of SuSE 9.0 have GnuCash? After all, GnuCash is a PERSONAL finance program!!!

Even if you get your hands on a GnuCash RPM you are buying a one-way ticket to dependency hell. IMO it's worth the $30 to get Moneydance.

my suggestion is to install apt-get for SUSE, and Synaptic. It has the latest GNucash (1.8.7). Or, get SUSE 9.0 Pro from an Ebayer.

Unfortunately apt-get and synaptic won't make gnucash a better program.
