Sue Linux v9 stops at Yast

I freed 3gigs of unpartitioned space so that i could install the Special Edition of the above. The intro window appeared ,then came the Choice of Installation window. I clicked on "Install" as suggested. A lot of info streamed on down the screen, but when it came to "Installing Yast" there it stopped and that was that...nothing.
A friend suggested my C partition was too small(2gigs) Is this true?. I thought since i had booted from a Linux CD-Rom that it would not involve my C partition. Any way, i don't want to mess around with that if it is not necessary. I use W98SE, and i have a Epson printer, external Sportster Flash modum and there is nothing in my computer that one could describe as super-glitzy, or high end stuff. Any suggestions?.

You might need more space, could be a hardware problem that isn't being detected or supported. If you provide those details, might be more suitable.

And next time look at the forum your asking your questions in, this is the Website Questions and Suggestions forum, a forum for asking questions or making suggestions about this site, not to ask your Linux specific questions.
