Lightbulb spell checker


How to change the spell checker in Mandriva using Firefox
Every word I write get a red mark even if I try to put a thread on this
forum and as English is not my native language it very confusing


Can some body helps me out

In FireFox click on tools -> options -> advanced. There you can either turn off the spell checker or change the language.

Thanks for you,re quick reply but all I find under tools is the following options :
Web search
Down loads
AD ons
Error console
DOm inspector
Page info
Clear private data
and no more or do I make a mistake if so give me an other hint please ?

I have one more line on my tools menu than you do:

Options...

What version of FireFox are you using? Maybe you are using an old version of FireFox.

spell checker

I just down load the new version of firfox and put in my home dir
and now it use the English spell checker the original was from Mandriva
2008 with I have just down load a few weeks ago

Sorry jailbait but I don't think there's anything wrong with his Firefox.
It's Edit > Preferences... at least in Gnome (I don't know about KDE since I don't use it)
