sound in mandrake 9.1


i have this sound card VIA 82C686A/B (it comes inregrated whit the mother soyo 7SY-K7VTA Pro), and the mandrake 9.1 recognice it, but the sound dont work. when i try to test the sound the system give me this message:

"Sound server warning message:
Can't set real-time scheduling priority.
You need to run artswrapper as root or
setuid root. This means that you will
likely not be able to produce acceptable
sound (i.e. without clicks and breaks)."

i try that command and doesnt work.
sorry for the long tread but its getting me crazy.

I get that message too but my sound works just fine. Try running the config tool for your sound card in Mandrake 9.1 Control Center and changing the driver to i_810 audio.
