I cant tell you much about this distro, IDK if it will fit on a jumpdrive (64-128mb). That is going to be a very small distro if it will fit on a jumpdrive.
You can always just get the kernel, or mabey even a floppy disk distro...and build it up from there, but that will probally be slightly difficult. I have seen somewhere on the LQ boards (I dont remembe where) something about a gmail FS. You would probally need the kernel and a the script, and you net card configured adn thats it...I couldnt imagine that taking up mroe then 128megs.
You have one hell of a project on your hands, and I wish you luck ^_^
ok... after some looking around on distrowatch I found finnix ppc, which is a small distro (~114 MB). You would need a jump drive that is slightly larger than 128 MB, but most jump drives are. I have not tried it yet, because the only ppc computers I use are at school, but it looks like an option.
Another problem that i have noticed is that Macs (G3 iMacs and Emacs) do not like booting off of USB devices, is there a way to force them to boot USB?
