You put down a link to a wikipedia article without the section (ID) in the URL, which was #RPM-Based or whatever. This causes the browser to automagically go down to that section.

He could have just not posted the link, as I imagine he found that wiki by "automagically" using Google.
A simple thank you would have been more in order, rather than whining because he didn't post a link that wouldn't require you to open your eyes.
