RH9.0 rpm error: Installation Tree Not Found

Any time I try to install an .rpm package I get "Installation Tree Not Found. The path /mnt/cdrom does not look like a valid installation source"

I'm not even trying to install from the cdrom either... can somebody figure this out!? thx...

i'm having exactly the same error at Fedora Core 3, but in previous installations all went well.

I've only changed my udev settings, in order to correct the NVIDIA drivers bug, referred in http://www.fedora.redhat.com/docs/udev/ (at the bottom of the page).

I apreciate some help in advance
