RedHat v7.3 questions
1. Does RedHat v7.3 have an integrated database engine?
2. Does RedHat v7.3 have an integrated backup solution?
By "integrated" I mean can you install it from the redhat cd or do you have to get additional packets to get these services...
Regards,
Kenneth

Database engines, everything besides oracle, sybase, MS Access and a few others are on the install CD, there are MySQL, Postgresql, and a couple of others. Hmm backup? How about tar the most versatile archiving tool, if you need something fancy like BRU-PRO or Veritas, I'd suggest go get it off the net info on BRU is found here http://www.tolisgroup.com/
for Veritas
http://www.veritas.com (it's not free)
