Redhat or Mandrake

Where can I find a comparison of Redhat 8 and Mandrake 9 on the net?

What are your thoughts of which is better?

I looking to upgrade my home PC, currently running Mandrake 8.

The new Redhat GUI has got me thinking about switching, any thoughts?

How easy is it to install Redhat over top of Mandrake? Is it even possible?

Thanks in advance.

Well, for starters, there's a thread on this very site that has been going on quite a long time and has some interesting views. When you say 'the new RedHat GUI' what do you mean? RedHat uses Gnome by default, but also has KDE. Mandrake uses KDE by default but also has Gnome. You see, there's not much to choose between them. What do you mean by installing RH over the top of Mandrake? You can have both on your machine, but they'll need to be installed onto seperate partitions, just like you wouldn't install Windows onto your RedHat partition.
