RedHat 8.0 and Xfree 4.2.1

Does anybody know how I could update my RH 8 install with XFree 4.2.0 to 4.2.1?
I have already tried downloading the install files but running the install script only ruins my 4.2.0 install instead of making it faster (my radeon 9000 should be supported in that version).

redhat doesn't seem to have produced it's own 4.2.1 rpms, and with something as big as X, i wouldn't recommend using someone elses. so you're left to install it from source, http://xfree86.org OR wait for them to catch up and make it.

Somebody did point me towards the following info: ftp://people.redhat.com/mharris/test...ME-XFree86.txt

It's not 4.2.1 but he calls it 4.2.99 and these RPMS should have been created for RH 8 but no luck so far. Waiting for redhat to create a update is going to take a long time I am afraid :(
A long time ago I did build my own kernal (when I tried RH 6.2) but building my own X from source might be a step to far for me (back to windows for the moment).
