portable distro for amd64 arch

Does anyone know of a good, small, portable distro for the amd64 architecture? I realize that a 32 bit portable distro will work with a 64 bit chip, but I need to run 64 bit binaries. I have always liked knoppix and damnsmall, but neither has a 64 bit version. I would be greatful if anyone could answer my question.

There is a 64bit version of Knoppix although the latest one was back in June/July!!! However, have you looked at Ubuntu Linux at www.ubuntulinux.org which is a Debian based, just like Knoppix? They have both 32bit & 64bit for free download... ;) Otherwise, you can always try Fedora Core 3, Novell SUSE Linux Professional 9.2, MandrakeLinux 10.1, Debian, or even Gentoo. They all have 64bit for your AMD64 CPU.

Sorry, when I said portable, I meant able to boot off a CD-ROM without installation.
Like Knoppix, Damnsmall, or gentoo livecd.

Thanks!

Well, you can do that with Novell SUSE Linux 9.2 64bit LiveCD too...

Oh yeah. It has been on ftp sites for a while now. In fact, I just checked it out last Saturday... Nothing special except there are a whole bunch of missing stuff on it compared to Knoppix. I guess they want you to purchase the real version!!!
