PCLinux OS live media hybrid?

Can't seem to find on their forums, or the release notes. Are the 2013.06 images (LXDE or KDE) hybrid ISO's, aka - can they be transferred to a USB drive directly via dd instead of burnt to an optical drive?

No, they're not hybrid. They include a tool (PCLinuxOS-liveusb) to create a USB, but you have to be running PCLinuxOS from the DVD to use it!

PS A quick check reveals that you can use unetbootin.
