I'm looking for some awesome 3rd party repos that I could use in PClinux can anyone give me any clues? I'm particularly looking for games that are normally not included in the PCLinux/Mandriva repositories, such as Warsow, GLaxxium, Astromenace, etc, etc. Is it actually possible to use Mandriva and other distro's repositories with PCLinux and how do I accomplish that?
Is synaptic actually able to use other package types, such as .deb/.pkg/.tgz/.slp type packages?

I've never heard of nor seen any 3rd party repos for PCLinuxOS. I have however successfully installed Mandriva .rpms on a PCLinuxOS system. My advice would be to install kpackage first.

You will then be able to double click any Mandriva .rpm and perform a test install to make sure it will work. That way you don't end up hosing your system.

PCLinuxOS is a fork of Mandriva, I don't recommend you using .rpms from other distros such as SuSe or Redhat etc.

I think Synaptic has an 'Alien' mode for converting other packages.
