No GUI on Ubuntu minimal install, intrepid ibex..
 
have installed the minimal version of Ubuntu Intrepid.. can't seem to get the gui to work.. any thoughts?

You will need to install the x system and the WM and the File manager that you want.

hey thanks for the advice.. it worked and finally can make good use of this old dell laptop.. am using it now.. good luck.. thanks so much again.
