Multi-Distro Live DVD/Installer

Is it possible to put more than one distro on a DVD and have a choice of what to boot into and then install if one wanted to? With all the variety out there I think this would be a really cool idea. Maybe I am ignorant and it absolutely can't be accomplished, I don't know. I would be interested in any discussion this can bring...

These are some great links posted by Xavier

I made one using grub and it works well, just select what you use most frequently add that to the disc. Great so all you have to do is carry on disc with you rather than 30.
