modules files in mdk8.2


I've reinstalled mdk 8.2 and need to comment out the appropriate line for my sound card (ac'97) in the modules configuration file. But which file? Done a forum search but...

not sure what you're really after, but the "module configuration file" is normaly /etc/modules.conf

Yeah, thanks, but what I'm looking for is the config file containing the list of possible modules to load. By uncommenting the appropriate line, the module is then loaded on next boot.

I've an onboard ac'97 codec and would like it to function. BTW, /dev/mixer, /dev/dsp etc don't exist, strange?
