minimal installation
Does anyone know how to do the most minimal installation in Redhat 7.3?
What are the bare minimum packages that I need to have a fully operational system? I consider a fully functional system to be one to which it is not difficult to add software. I'm fairly new to linux and I want to start with a clean plate so that I can learn from the bottom up. It seems that most new distros just want to do all the work for you. But that's no way to learn. I basically just want the operating system, and from there be able to create a system that I understand because I built it. Thanks for you help. |
Please Do not double or triple post, it leads to a lot of duplication of effort and wastes a lot of people's time.
Cheers, Finegan This should probably all head to the post you made in Newbie. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=23566 |
