merged configuration error on suse
Hi all.
I have just updated mu Suse 9 pro system to the 2.6 kernel with no hitches other than a quick alsa config. Very happy.
Anyway onto my problem. The kernel i have from rpm has no dvb support compiled in so i decide to recompile. Unfortuatley whenever i try to call make xconfig or make menuconfig i get the following error
The .config file is a merged configuration; please remove it by hand before creating your own configuration. You can use one of the files arch/i386/defconfig.* as template
Does this mean i am going to have to build the kernl config from scratch!! or can i edit the .config file to be accepted or force config to load it?
