can't seem to get an honest answer out of MEPISlovers why they continue to delete my accounts.
Has anyone heard of them deleting people's accounts and posts and denying it?
This is not related to their host change over.
Looks like they do not like that I belong to a minority (humanist) and I do not support BUSH.

winsnomore, maybe they don't like him because he supports Bush - Not because he talks about Bush.
I know a few other boards (not willing to name and shame) who are anti-British and therefore deleted my account; I however thought "Fine, your loss" and went elsewhere.
I also know of a few other boards which are mainly U.S. and Kerry supporters ignore Bush supporters posts and vice versa.
I forgot to mention, it simply depends on the mentality of certain people.
Thankfully from what I see here at LQ though, people are more open minded and don't care so much about personal beliefs however are more interested in helping people with problems and getting more people to use Linux.
I walk the talk and have been helping people online since 1993, and I have experienced out and out hatred and intolerance beyond belief.
Seen far too many hypocrites purported to support freedom and equality only to snipe good people to pieces and distract from the real issues.
Real issue; I want fair support from MEPIS not arguement with rational retards (Bush supporters and the ilke)

eBop, me thinks hatered for english is uncommon in US (unless you were a guardian editor), but if one was French, now that will be a real reason :-))
And Galen .. stop demanding things, if they give it you .. take it .. you have no right to ask (remember it's free).
and surely you are doing your bit of distracting by a wonderful signature.
--- IT DOESN'T BELONG IN A TECHNICAL FORUM ---
there are plenty of sites to express your view.
In all fairness I believe MepisLovers is *not* Mepis - as far as I know it is a "fansite" rather than an official support forum. I would also say that you would be only entitled to fair support if you actually paid for your subscription - in which case they certainly should not be allowed to discriminate against you on the basis of your political views. But although I don't approve of this, I feel a volunteer forum can make their rules as they see fit. Warren (creator of Mepis) made his position pretty clear with his gesture of donating Mepis to families of the soldiers and it is to be expected Mepis boards will attract like-minded people. That's only natural!
At the time I was evaluating Mepis for my own needs and I found it to be a solid distro that could serve me quite well so I was quite ready to sign up with a subscription, because I believe in supporting distros I use. What's more, I think it is Warren's right to donate his work to whoever he wants to, be it soldiers, the missile command or indeed the White House directly. However I decided not to subscribe, because I didn't wish to do business with someone taking such stance - and that is *my* right. I prefer to associate with people who seem to share my opinions, or at least keep theirs to themselves so I don't know what they are - which really means most Linux developers.
So basically what I am trying to say is, accept Warren and Mepislovers have the right to their own opinions, while you have choices - so don't be afraid to exercise them. Mepis is pretty good, but it is just one of many.
And if you want a distro that is not ashamed to express left-wing sentiments, try Blag! Actually it is supposed to be quite worth checking out on technical merit as well.
The actions of a site not connected in any way with LQ do not need to be discussed on these forums. If you have a problem with a site, any site, take it up with their management team. Also I can see this thread getting out of hand.
For these reasons and for the ones above, this thread is now closed.
