Mandrake 9.1 LAN Problems

I am running Mandrake 9.1 but I'm having a problem getting this system on the net. I have a 3com card and it recognized it fine that I can tell. I'm running my cable connection through a router. I've tried the suggestions made in the "Mandrake 9.1 Net Connection Problems" thread but it still isn't working. I had this problem with 9.0 and ended up going to redhat but I like the featrues or mandrake better. Can anyone help me get through this problem so I can get on the net? Thanks!
