Question Mandrake 9.1 - Gnome Menu Unbranding


hi all,

i recently installed mandrake 9.1

now i was wondering how i would go about removing
the 'mandrake linux menu' and the 'kde menu' from the
gnome menu.

any suggestions and/or ideas are appreciated.

Menudrake should help you do that, you can customize the menu for each window manager

thx, but..

thx the the advice, but unfortunately menudrake does not
allow the user to do more than modify the main part of the
menu; the mandrake linux menu + kde menu are additions
to this, separated from the gnome menu, and can not be
modified, let alone removed from the menu by menudrake.

here's a shot of the menu i want to modify; the two items
at the bottom (below the separator) i want to remove:

ok. never mind this... i installed slackware 9 today;
which does not have the branding. i have some
other issues with it, but i'll try finding solutions to
them, since i'm probably not the first who has them.
if i can't find a solution, i'll post on these forums.
