So far, so good with Mandrake 8.2. The only problem is with the autologin feature.
Initially, I set the autologin to log me in with the "BlackBox" desktop. I really can't stand the blackbox anymore, and so i tried to change the specified desktop in the mandrake control center and the gnome control center. Didn't have any effect. The only way out of using blackbox is to logout and log in manually from the GUI login screen and choose the desktop there, or to disable it altogether.
Does mandrake have a file where this preference is kept, that perhaps I could change it manually? Why don't the changes I make in the control centers make any difference?
