I have installed mandrake 7.02.I know that is little old distr but right now i have only this.My main problem is that i have 128 MB ram but linux see only 64MB.I have tryed everything about lilo.conf,like append ="mem=128M",run lilo,give mem=128M from command line during the booting but nothing.I aked one magazine about this and they told me that 7.02 is very old and dont support many features.Is it true?Can i make my RAM work properly?PLS help one newbie.

I had the same problem with the same distro. My solution was
in the bios settings for RAM. I was upgrading from 16Mb to
48Mb and linux didn't see it. It had me puzzled for a bit
until I booted Windoze (which i'm happy to say, no longer exists for me)
and it didn't see the added memory either.
Check your bios settings.
