Do any of the major distributions, besides Debian, have the option of floppy-initiated installation over the internet? I used to be able to do this with older versions of SUSE, but I no longer see any img files for install in this manner.
Mandriva also has a net install which can be done using floppies. The instructions are on any of the Mandriva mirrors in the architecture type (i.e. i586 etc) directory of the installation tree.
