live CD, which one?

I've looked all over the place for a live linux cd that has this stuff

-defualt gui (kde or gnome)
-wine (pre installed easy use gui)
-NTFS read (write would be nice too)
-normal desktop stuff (mail,www,chat,ect)

basicly a live cd that you can throw on a XP machine and emulate alot of it. also too be nice if there was a option in wine to use a made up drive (within the ram) or use the hd that has windows.

first when i tried to use WINE in mandrake it loaded up a old partition (it was xp) and said it couldn't find users on it. but then i try out jollix and they have wine as a virtual drive. what would be cool if (cuzz its a live CD) chose a partition or make a virtual drive.

also too if anyone knows a live cd that got ether UT2004 demo or a Live cd with half live and mods (like couter stirke and public enemy).

Take a look on distrowatch.com, on the right is a bunch of live cd's see if anything there has what you want. I have a couple of them knoppix and slack but I don't think they have wine..

Knoppix 3.2 has wine and i'd imagine 3.3 will also have it. Knoppix uses kde by default and Gnoppix uses Gnome.

Your chances of a ut2004 or half-life demo are slim to none - you only have around 700mb to play with on a cd, the developers aren't going to waste space with a game demo which would take up a huge chunk of space.

well i just saw that UT2003 demo cd and thought maybe they had one for 2k4. i also saw jollix and was wondering if they had counter strike in english. also too i rember knoppix and i don't think wine was in a gui format. the only cd that i saw had it in a gui format was jollix and that all was in german.

Gentoo has a Live CD for UT 2004, but forget about Window Manager, NTFS support or Wine. Gentoo is real stripped down and fast as hell. Its also quite a bit harder to use than Knoppix.
