List of distros with "Auto-Dual-Boot"

I want a simple list of linux distros that can automaticly setuup a dual boot, like the ubuntu family or fedora.

There is no way to make a simple list in what you probably need. All distros are listed here for your to closely study.

Most linux installers are intelligent enough to guess and include for additional booting every OS it finds installed before it. Say, if you have a beautiful and cranky Windows Vestra, what you need is only to obtain a little space in the drive to house say a Linux Mint and upon installing linux mint at first boot up you will still find your cranky Vestra offered as an option to boot to when Grub loads. This is how intelligently crafted linux is.

I'd guess that most of the top 30 or so at distrowatch.com can do it to some extent. I doubt any can do all situations. As in all installs there is a chance the installer won't work. It may be that you have to use advanced tools and skills to get it working either before or after install.

You might be interested in using virtual machines instead. They are much safer.

I though vista's dual boot problem is that Microsoft wanted it's os as the only one on a system so it setup a fancy bootloader that GRUB GAG LILO etc can't mimic, same thing with NTFS.
