Linuxmce
Hi again, I will probably be shot down in flames for posting in the wrong place (no offence intended), but here goes.
I have been looking for some time now about building my own media center - even posted a thread "Linux Media Center". I have recently been looking at Linuxmce which seems to have a bit of a following. The research I have done points towards Linuxmce being a good contender for the windows media center (that's if we need to include windows). The side of things that seems a little week is the compatibility issue. What to buy? What will work? They have, as most Linux distros, setup a forum to answer such questions, but I think they are a bit new at the mo. One would assume that the developers would release a "what you need" list, but I haven't been able to find one. I have a Nad HiFi system that I would like to integrate into my media center. Is there anyone who has some experience of Linuxmce? can someone give me a run down of things that I will need to buy in order to build a reasonable system that is Linuxmce compatible? bookie |
The homepage for that project does have a "Compatible Products and Services" link.

Thanks for the info, but I have already tried that link and it is the forum. There appears not to be an official requirments list.
