Linux that runs on RAM? (besides Puppy)

Is there any other distro that can run completely on RAM besides Puppy?

I dont mean LiveCDs...but something you can install a "save" file to HD...but the rest runs on RAM (like Puppy's frugal install)

Can any of these be installed to HD, booted from HD, but run on RAM?

(The laptop im trying to do this on has no CD, floppy, and doesnt boot off USB)

I'm pretty sure DSL (Damn Small Linux) can run from ram.

You're correct, you can set up a Fugal if you want (needs 50mb)or a regular Debian install (about 200 mb needed) there is also a "embedded" version that you run from inside windoze , I have never bothered to try either though.(I use it "live" only with "toram" cheatcode ) I keep my settings on a floppy

Member SML mentions Scientific Linux on another thread.

Can anyone else confirm that Scientific Linux is capable of booting toram and/or suggest any other distributions that can run completely from RAM?

Has anyone discovered a way to run any of the major distributions like Slackware, Debian, or Fedora completely from RAM?
(Actually my googling around on this question did turn up at least one answer here.)
