Dear All Long time haven't wrote to you and I wish that my request got a solution.
I have a Kingston 2GB U3 Flash USB. I wish to install any version of inux and use it as my mobile OS. To be able to boot my systme within it from any PC I want.
Distribution: debian with bits of everything stuck on it

Have a look on the distrowatch website, you can use the search to find distro's intended for usb keys. Last time I looked, slackware was the highest rated but that was about a year ago.

Ok this could be usefull some how, but not just the distru that I am searching for. I need the how to??????????

I installed knoppix from CD through there Graphical installer...I had a 4GB USB flash drive...
I eventually got it installed with readwrite capability and autohardware detection on boot..so i could carry it anywhere and it would autohardware detect the any computer
