Lilo problems with RedHat install

I installed RedHat on a second HD but aparently RedHat decided to install LILO on the first HD (main HD) where I had WinXP installed and now it refuses to boot in winxp..
You understand im very annoyed by this and i was told quickly i needed to config /etc/lilo.conf but i have no clue what to put in there... Possibly restore my old MBR? Aparently lilo made backup but the faq on it made no sense to me.

Anybody willing to help? Thanx in advance,

Inner

To remove lilo
lilo -u
Then you need to make a boot disk:
mkbootdisk kernelversion
because Windows XP does not like Lilo. It prefers its' own bootloader.
Now follow instructions from Linux+NT-Loader mini HOWTO (from www.tldp.org, or you have it installed into your Linux system with other doc files). It's the same for NT and XP.
