knoppix 3.3 kernel panic
hi,
today I've tried knoppix 3.3 on a PC.
At login I specify:
vga=normal lang=it
cause I've got a bad monitor and I'd like to have it keyboard mapping.
Then it starts to load the kernel......... but then I've got the following message:
initrd extends beyond and of memory (0X0FFF793C > 0X0FFF0000)
kernel panic: VFS: unable to mount root fs on 01:01
RAM is 256, HD about 20Gb, 17 with a debian partition and about 3GB of swap. no free space...
someone knows what could it be?
