That is actually not the Live Slackware CD I was refering to.
The Box/Jewell set of Slackware has a CD (Disc 2, Bootable Live Disc) that contains tons of stuff on a compressed filesystem. It (as well as Zipslack) have been part of the distribution for at least a few versions.
