kernel confusion -- which source for 2.4.18-bf2.4

Hello,
I have debian woody installed and it is working pretty well. But my kernel sources seem to be installed wrong or something. The kernel is 2.4.18-bf2.4. The debian site does not have kernel sources with that name, so I installed the 2.4.18 sources. Then everything complained that the running kernel was not the same as the source. So as a temporary fix I got the 2.4.18-bf2.4 header files and got rid of the source and all was well. I got the nvidia drivers and compiled those, not a problem. So for a while now I have not had the complete source for this kernel.

However recently I tried to compile plex86 from the tarball. During installation it gave me an error that the plex86 module was for 2.4.19 and was not consistent with the kernel. What the heck? Where did that come from? I would like to have the complete sources consisent with this kernel but don't know how to get them.

Any help appreciated.
-Dan

There is a good Debian way to do this, I'm sure, but I just don't know it. I would just download the original kernel source from (a mirror of) www.kernel.org and compile my own kernel.
