is LILO supported in RHEL5?

Hello Linux Guru's,

I am trying to install RHEL5 with LILO boot loader. By default it installs GRUB. I could not find any rpm available for LILO for RHEL5 on web. Does it mean that LILO is not supported in RHEL5?

Thanks in advance.

Well it's not "supported" but it should work fine, and in reality, lilo runs outside of a specific distro anyway, so it's not really applicable. there are packages out there for el5 which should work OK... http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/lilo/
