intel 82845G/GL
hello,
I 've installed a red hat 7.2 : the INTEL 82845G/GL video card is not recognized and available for X server... Any solution ?
Does the red hat 8.0 distribution manage this video driver ?

Not really! I'm running RH 8.0 on the same card and the quality of the graphics was terrible. I chose a generic driver called "vesa" and it gives me so-so quality. I understand that kernel 2.6 will provide the proper support of 82845G/GL cards. Hope so!

Duh, you're right. It is integrated on the motherboard. "Vesa" driver still get's the thing working for me until 2.6, that's the important thing. At least for me.
