Question install programs without coding

Hi, is there any program which automates the task of installing programs in Mandriva? Like an exe file in windows... thnx!

Yup--the package manager.

I don't know what it is called in Mandriva, but it will be in the menus under "Add software", "Add Programs", or something like that.

The command line tool for package management in Mandriva is called urpmi and the gui wrapper is called rpmdrake. If you use KDE, you can access the GUI tool by going to Kmenu -> System -> Configuration -> COnfigure Your Computer and go to the software management section.
