Question Install Mandrake 8.1 (lnx4win) without CD

I am trying to install Mandrake 8.1 (lnx4win) from CD's. I allways receive errors on different packages.

Can I copy the contents of the CD's to the HD and install from there?

Thanks!

Distribution: I'm in love with Gentoo. 'emerge kde' -- can it be any more simple?

It depends... Are you trying to install as linux for windows, ie without using disk partitioning? Or, are you trying to install it as a normal linux, ie by partitioning your HD. Newer versions of Lnx4win won't let you do that. The older ones (Mandy 6.5 and earlier) did.
