HP Mini-Note 2133: Which distro would you recommend?

I'm an amatuer web developer (PHP, Javascript, AJAX) and I recently recieved my 2133. I'm interested in a distro that's not going to bog down the system but is attractive and feature rich, and would provide a decent environment for web development (primarily syntax highlighting and ftp client).

Which distros would you recommend I use as an intermediate Linux user?

Thankyou.

I would try Debian Netinstthen add software as you need it. It comes in versions, Etch the current stable release, Testing(Lenny) and Unstable(Sid). Debian also comes with over 18700+ packages, so I'm sure you should be able to get most software you would want.

Thanks for the suggestion, I ultimately decided upon openSUSE 11.

Aside of some wireless issues I'm very happy with this distro.

Glad you decided on one. I have a thing with Suse since they made a deal with Microsoft, but that's just my opinion. Like sleeping with the enemy.

If you do grow tired of OpenSuse, keep the debian netinst in mind.
