Nexus, Thanks I will definitely try out what you are suggesting. However I do remember having installed a Redhat version several years ago on my machine that had 128 MB of ram. So can someone let me know the exact earlier versions of Fedora, Suse or Mandrake, etc that can be used on this machine.
Information on this will be highly appreciated.

Back then most distos ran on modest machines. Things have now moved on. The problem with using earlier versions that can run on 128mb of ram is, there's probably no support or updates provided for them anymore.
