How to make SolusOS look like Linux Mint?

I wish to customize my SolusOS 1.2 look like Linux Mint. Please give me tips and help in this.

Copy Mint's wallpaper from /usr/share/wallpapers?

Personally, I find Solus a much more attractive OS than Mint. Different strokes.

Solus uses gnome 2.X (like current debian stable versions is it built off).

Current mint versions can use various different DEs (like cinnamon, which uses gnome 3).

Which version of mint were you trying to make solus look like?

I suppose that MATE is the same as GNOME 2? I have never used them, but MATE is supposed to be nearly identical to GNOME 2.

Anyway, it would be helpful to know what aspects of LM you want to mimick.
