how to combine kernel and ramdisk to a single image file


hi, is there anyone here can guide me on how to combine the kernel and the ramdisk into a single image file?

all I could find was this one cryptic sentence, but maybe it will help...

"I run make_bin to combine kernel image with initrd fiel and
