HELP/QUERY: Knoppix rules woes :S

I hear that the Knoppix live-cd can be installed - so that it's not so-live anymore. Is this true? If so, how does one install a live-cd?

I can't seem to get right-access to the harddrive anyway, so I can't even do a 1-to-1 copy off the CD onto the harddrive. Please can someone give me a dummies/newbie guide to installing the Knoppix live-cd.
