Keep an eye on PCLinuxOS development, folks. Preview .93 is due out soon. It will mainly be an update of .92, but one or two new features will sneak in. One contributor, Thac, has been working on integrating the DRI/MDE stuff into the xorg builds. This means that some form of 3D working should be available on more video cards. Only nvidia users will not benefit, being as we have good drivers anyway. The side effect of this for everyone is less pressure on Texstar who can devote more time to other packages. Expect to see improved support in line with the updated kernel being worked on. For .92 users, you will be able to upgrade into .93 by doing a general update and installing the new kernel when it hits "stable".
