GPL, Distros, Obligations of 3rd Party
I tried looking on gpl-violations and FSF and could not find an answer!
If I install a Linux Distro, say Ubuntu for someone:
A: what do I have to give them to conform with the GPL? - Install CD?
- Source CD?
- Both Install & Source?
- Written Offer for source?
B: If I am: - Paid as a Computer shop?
- Volunteer at an Install Fest?
- Friend of a Friend of a Friend?
- or does it matter?

A. nothing, it's not your distro, you are just installing it for someone. it's ubuntu's responsiblity to provide the source or a link to the source.
B. doesn't matter
