Unhappy Gnome replaces KDE desktop in SuSE 8.1


Probem (?) in SuSE 8.1
I'm totally newbie and my english is terrible
When I run some Gnome program (for example game Mahjongg)under KDE and tried to read help file, Gnome replaces all my KDE icons and wallpaper. What's wrong? Please help.

open nautilus and unselect 'use nautilus to render desktop' in the nautilus settings, log out, log back in.
