Gettin' the Bluecurve out of Redhat 8 9??

I've been doing a little searching on this subject, and I came across this forum thread http://www.linuxiso.org/forums/viewt...b68d9a72df0b77 which shows how to remove the Bluecurve theme (and NB the Ugly redhat Bluecurve startpanel) from RH8 or 9 and restore the original KDE look and starpanel.

I use GNOME and I am wondering if anyone knows how to do this in GNOME isntead of KDE? They don't mention how to do it in GNOME in the thread, and I would much prefer the GNOME footprint than the ugly red hat.

If anyone has a clue on the subject, please post!

Many thanks

If you don't like Red Hat's branding then don't use Red Hat. It's as simple as that.

Personally, I don't see what the big deal about BlueCurve is, it looks great and it's about the only thing Red Hat are doing right in their distro.
